New integration adds a Communications Pillar to the Keel data platform, giving cruise operators end‑to‑end visibility into onboard communications
MIAMI, FL and HERTFORDSHIRE, UK — NT Maritime Holdings, LLC, a leading maritime communications intelligence and IT solutions provider, and Nevetal, the company behind the Keel data platform, today announced a strategic partnership to integrate NT Maritime’s communication systems directly into Keel.
The integration introduces a new Communications Pillar within Keel dashboards, allowing cruise operators to monitor messaging, voice, and network performance alongside operational and business data, all in one place. For the first time, cruise lines gain a unified view of how onboard communications impact crew productivity and guest experience.
Turning Communication Data into Action
Through the partnership, cruise operators can access daily messaging and voice KPIs, crew and passenger response times, sentiment insights, and detailed network quality metrics. Real-time alerts help network teams detect and resolve issues before they affect guests, while data-driven insights support better operational decisions fleet-wide.
“This integration is a powerful example of Keel’s extensible platform,” said Joost van Ree, VP Commercial, Digital Platforms at Nevetal. “Working with NT Maritime allows us to expand Keel’s operational visibility while giving cruise lines access to communication insights at enterprise scale, all within a single data environment.”
"NT Maritime has spent years building a communications platform that captures rich, real-time operational data across messaging, voice, and network performance," said Garry Paxinos, CTO & CAIO at NT Maritime. "Partnering with Nevetal to integrate that data into Keel validates our approach and unlocks enterprise-scale insights that cruise operators have been asking for.”
About the Integration
The Communications Pillar in Keel brings together four core data areas:
Messaging KPIs: Crew and passenger response times, sentiment analysis, and emergency alerts
Voice KPIs: Call usage and performance metrics
Network Quality: Call quality, jitter, packet loss, and latency with automated alerting
PBX Insights: App-to-cabin, cabin-to-app, and front-desk communication activity
As passengers increasingly expect land‑quality connectivity at sea, communication has become central to the cruise experience. This partnership responds to growing demand for unified, AI‑ready data platforms that enable proactive network monitoring and elevate both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
